The Pretty Reckless release a new version of “About You,” featuring guest performances from Dave Grohl and Pat Smear. The song is described as a bonus or updated take on “Dear God,” with outlets presenting it as a fresh collaboration built around the band’s existing track.
Taylor Momsen, the band’s frontwoman, comments that working with friends and jamming together is central to the project. Multiple outlets frame the collaboration as a crossover with Grohl and Smear, widely associated with Foo Fighters, positioning their involvement as a stylistic boost while keeping the focus on the song’s release and availability for streaming. The coverage centers on the new audio version and the participation of the two musicians, rather than on broader touring or label developments.
