The trio has not played together since the 2024 Olympics in Paris, where they helped lead the U.S. to the gold medal. In that tournament, the three forwards accounted for a large share of the team’s goals, with the outlets noting they scored 10 of the U.S. team’s 12 goals. Their return comes after a period when they did not appear on the same roster, attributed to injuries and pregnancy-related absences. One report also states the players are included on a training camp roster, with the federation naming a 26-player group for the Brazil matches. The friendlies mark their first reunion since August 2024 and are scheduled to take place in Brazil as part of the team’s current international schedule.
