Hunger Pangs Ltd, which operates the “Burma Burma” restaurant and tea room chain, files draft IPO papers with India’s markets regulator SEBI. The planned issue includes a fresh equity component of up to ₹150 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of up to 2.79 crore shares by existing shareholders, according to the draft red herring prospectus referenced by outlets.

The fresh issue proceeds are intended to support opening new Burma Burma restaurants and general corporate purposes. The IPO value will depend on the final pricing of the shares offered for sale. Coverage also notes that promoter and other selling shareholders are expected to participate in the OFS. Hunger Pangs operates in India’s premium Pan-Asian casual dining segment, with Burma Burma focused on Burmese cuisine.

As of July 31, 2026, the company runs 22 restaurants, one delivery kitchen and three warehouses across nine cities. Outlets also describe plans to broaden its restaurant footprint and strengthen delivery and direct-to-consumer offerings, including ready-to-eat meals and packaged foods. Panthomath Capital Advisors is named as the sole book-running lead manager in at least one report.
