A light aircraft crash near Drymen, Stirling, in central Scotland kills two people: a 16-year-old boy and an 80-year-old man. Police say emergency services are called shortly before 17:00 on Friday, and both are pronounced dead at the scene. Multiple outlets report the crash occurred north-east of Drymen, around 4:45pm.

Following the incident, authorities put temporary airspace restrictions in place over the Drymen area. Several reports say the restrictions are intended to remain in effect for some time to allow the Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) to conduct investigations, and that drone flights are included within the restricted conditions. Police state enquiries continue to determine the full circumstances, and that next of kin have been informed.
