Apple is developing a “Create a Pass” feature for its Wallet app as part of iOS 27, according to multiple reports. The feature is intended to help users add or convert passes that may not currently be compatible with Apple Wallet. Users would open Wallet, tap the “+” button, and then scan a QR code on a physical ticket, membership card, or other pass when available. If a scannable code is not present, the app would offer a way to create a custom pass manually. Reports say the in-app workflow will bridge the gap between Wallet and passes that lack native Wallet support, including items from third parties. Apple reportedly plans to support several pass categories, including events, memberships, and other types, each associated with a different template color. Users would be able to customize elements such as images, colors, and styling, along with text. The feature is expected to be previewed alongside other iOS 27 updates at Apple’s June WWDC event, though details remain based on reported information and app text shown in development.
