UltraTech Cement reports a rise in second-quarter profit, with net profit increasing by a little over 21% to about ₹1,501 crore, alongside higher revenue. Multiple outlets cite revenue growth of roughly 19% to around ₹23,295 crore, and earnings-per-share increases versus the year-ago quarter. The company also notes a sequential decline from the previous quarter’s profit and revenue.

Operationally, outlets agree that domestic grey cement sales volumes grow about 14% to 35.94 million tonnes and capacity utilisation improves to 71% from 66% a year earlier. The company attributes performance to factors such as disciplined execution, a wider market footprint, cost optimisation and focus on premium products, while also referencing headwinds including monsoon-related impacts and geopolitical pressures affecting supply conditions.

Separate reporting also says UltraTech announces board changes, with Managing Director Kailash Chandra Jhanwar set to become non-executive vice chairman from January 1, 2027, and KK Maheshwari stepping down from the role from the same date. The board reshuffle is presented as a governance update alongside the quarterly results.
