The Canadian Football League (CFL) announces a six-year broadcast agreement that extends its current arrangement with Bell Media and adds new streaming partners. According to the CFL, Bell Media remains the league’s majority broadcaster under the extension. The deal also brings DAZN in as a broadcast partner for Canadian and international audiences. In addition, YouTube is named a “Premier Platform” partner within the agreement, expanding how games are made available across platforms.
The agreement applies through the 2027 season, with the CFL indicating that fans will need to use subscription-based streaming services to watch all games in that period. The announcement is framed as a multi-platform distribution model combining traditional broadcasting through Bell Media with streaming options via DAZN and YouTube.
The CFL’s partners and the league describe the arrangement as an effort to broaden access while continuing an established majority-broadcast role for Bell Media, alongside new distribution through other online services.
