Walt Disney Co. CEO Josh D’Amaro is among several senior media and technology executives newly appointed to the Paley Center for Media’s board of trustees, according to multiple reports. Along with D’Amaro, the incoming trustees include Liberty Media CEO Derek Chang and Spotify co-CEO Alex Norström, as well as Sony Group Corp. CEO Hiroki Totoki. The appointments add leaders from major entertainment and streaming companies to the Paley Center’s governance structure.
Separately, one report says that Brian Grazer—an Imagine Entertainment co-founder and chairman—also joins the Paley Center’s Los Angeles Board of Governors. The outlets describe these changes as new additions to Paley’s boards, including both the national trustees group and the Los Angeles-focused governors body.
The announcements highlight Paley Center’s continued effort to broaden its leadership roster with executives from companies spanning film and television, music streaming, and media distribution. The reports do not indicate specific policy or programming changes tied to the appointments.
