Google is rolling out updated Gemini design changes to Android devices and upgrading related app features. Multiple outlets report that the rollout is now reaching all supported Android devices, with Gemini app updates delivering the new look.
Beyond the design change, the updates add or expand file-generation capabilities. Both sources indicate that Android Gemini updates include improvements for generating files, though they focus on the availability and breadth of the rollout rather than specific technical details. The overall emphasis differs slightly: one outlet frames the news as “upgrades” broadly tied to Gemini on supported devices, while the other highlights the “latest” design arriving for everyone alongside a major improvement to file generation.
Taken together, the reports point to a wider distribution of the same Gemini experience, delivered through app updates, and to increased functionality around creating files on Android.
