Ola Electric Mobility’s shares rise for a second day after recovering from earlier lows, with the stock hitting its highest level in more than four months. According to reports, the shares gain about 9% on Friday to around Rs 42.88 on the NSE, after an earlier all-time low of Rs 22.25 on March 16 and a sharp rebound of roughly 93% from March lows. The stock is still well below its post-IPO all-time high of Rs 157.40 reached soon after listing in August 2024.

The move follows the company’s Q4 results, released last week. Ola Electric reports a consolidated net loss of about Rs 500 crore for January–March (FY26), down from Rs 870 crore in the same quarter of the previous year. Sources also point to sequential improvement in retail volumes, as well as improving market share in recent months.

Brokerage commentary cited by Economic Times links the volume recovery to better availability from production capacity, gains in more price-sensitive northern markets, and demand-driven improvements as competitors operate at high utilization. Business Standard adds that Ola expects its auto business to move toward Adjusted Operating EBITDA and free cash flow positivity through FY27.
