Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang visits South Korea for a multi-day program of meetings with major Korean conglomerates and technology leaders, following his recent appearance at chip and tech events in Taipei. Multiple reports say Huang arrives around mid-week after attending Computex 2026, with his Korea schedule starting on Friday and continuing for several days. During the visit, he meets top executives including SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won, LG Group Chairman Koo Kwang-mo, and Naver Chairman Lee Hae-jin, with Hyundai Motor Group Executive Chair Chung Euisun described as a likely or participating participant. Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong is reported as not expected to attend at least some of the meetings due to overseas scheduling.
The discussions are described as going beyond semiconductor cooperation toward “physical AI” and robotics, alongside AI software and cloud collaboration. Sources also point to interest in Nvidia’s physical AI platforms, including Omniverse and Isaac, and possible gaming-related cooperation involving Krafton and NCSoft/NC founder Kim Taek-jin. The trip includes private dinners and meetings that mix business talks with public-facing activities, and it follows Huang’s October visit that included semiconductor coordination efforts and a reported plan to supply 260,000 Nvidia GPUs to Korea.
