White Castle introduces a new permanent plant-based option, the Southwest Veggie Slider, joining its existing beef, chicken and fish sliders. The Southwest Veggie Slider is described as having a crispy brown rice crust paired with a veggie patty. The patty is made with ingredients including sweet potatoes, black beans, corn, red bell peppers, onions and carrots. It also uses flavorings intended to resemble a chipotle- and barbecue-inspired profile.
