The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched an online portal for Class 12 students to check their marks and apply for verification and re-evaluation of answer sheets. The move is presented as a step toward transparency and comes amid scrutiny related to the board’s On Screen Marking (OSM) system, which has been the subject of investigations by India’s Education Ministry.
According to reports, the portal is now operational and includes guidance for students, including an instructional video on how to use the process. CBSE headquarters also communicates through official channels to direct students to follow the application steps correctly.
Students can submit requests through the online system within the stated deadline reported by outlets, with the application window running until June 6. The board’s approach allows learners to seek re-checking of marks and verification related to their evaluated answer sheets through a digital workflow, while the controversy surrounding OSM marking continues to draw attention from authorities.
