Los Angeles County prosecutors are reviewing sexual assault allegations involving music executive Sean “Diddy” Combs, according to officials. Multiple outlets report that the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office, led by Nathan Hochman, is considering allegations that were submitted for possible charging after investigations were presented by the Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The reports state that in the fall of 2025, separate sexual assault investigations involving one victim each were presented to the district attorney’s office—one by LAPD and one by LASD—for review. The Los Angeles Times and other outlets describe the material as two distinct cases under review.
Separately, The Hollywood Reporter says a publicist named Jonathan Hay alleges Combs sexually assaulted him twice, in 2020 and 2021, and characterizes the prosecutor review as a step in his pursuit of accountability.
Combs is serving a federal prison sentence related to charges in New York. The current Los Angeles review concerns whether additional allegations will be pursued further in Los Angeles County.
