Meta had asked the General Court to strike down two gatekeeper labels—one for Messenger and one for Marketplace. The outcome is a partial success for Meta: the Marketplace designation is removed, while the Messenger designation stays in place. As a result, Meta’s compliance duties under the DMA continue for Messenger, but not for Marketplace, according to the court’s ruling.
