The BCCI has announced the schedule and venues for the IPL 2026 playoffs. The tournament’s final is set for May 31 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. It is the second time in three seasons that the final is held at the venue, and the stadium previously hosted the IPL final in 2023. The playoffs begin on May 26, with Qualifier 1 to be played at HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala (also reported as Dharamsala/Mullanpur region depending on the outlet). The Eliminator and Qualifier 2 are scheduled for New International Cricket Stadium in New Chandigarh on May 27 and May 29, respectively. In addition to the overall playoff dates, one report notes that matches are planned in Mullanpur and Dharamsala for the playoff phase. The announcements come as the league-stage race for the top four places intensifies, with Punjab Kings currently leading the points table and multiple teams reported as tied on 12 points going into the closing phase.
