Apple TV releases a trailer for “Lucky,” an upcoming crime and heist limited series starring and executive produced by Anya Taylor-Joy. The series centers on a heist that goes wrong: after a multimillion-dollar operation goes sideways, con artist Lucky is forced to flee while being pursued by the FBI and a ruthless crime boss. Apple describes Lucky as fighting for her life and searching for a way out. Apple also says the show is based on Marissa Stapley’s bestselling novel of the same name. The series is scheduled to begin with the first two episodes on Wednesday, July 15. After the premiere, one new episode will be released each Wednesday through August 19. The streaming service is available via the web and through the Apple TV app on multiple platforms, and in the U.S. Apple TV+ pricing is listed as $12.99 per month or $129 per year.
