In addition, one outlet cites a Wall Street Journal report asserting the UAE carried out attacks on an Iranian refinery on Lavan Island in early April, around the time the U.S. announced a ceasefire. Multiple reports frame the incidents as increasing tension and testing the ceasefire’s durability.
