The outlet also says more opposition leaders are expected to switch to TVK soon.
The Hindu similarly reports that four former AIADMK ministers—M C Sampath, N R Sivapathi, Kadambur C Raju, and Udumalai K Radhakrishnan—join TVK. It adds that the induction happens in the presence of Minister N. Anand.
NDTV also lists the defectors as Udumalai K Radhakrishnan, MC Sampath, Kadambur C Raju, and NR Sivapathi, describing it as another setback for AIADMK. Across the reports, the defectors are former senior AIADMK figures, and their moves strengthen TVK’s ranks while further eroding AIADMK’s strength in key areas.
