According to the IMD updates cited by the outlets, once the monsoon reaches Delhi and nearby areas, it continues advancing toward northwestern parts of the country. The expected progression is described as spreading to parts of Haryana, Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir after the Delhi-NCR phase. Overall, the forecast points to a gradual onset for the region during the final days of June, supported by near-term thunderstorm activity and cooler conditions from earlier rainfall.
