Singapore’s HDB will offer more than 2,500 Build-To-Order (BTO) flats with expected wait times of around three years or less in its June BTO exercise, the housing board says. The flats will be provided across three BTO projects located in Sembawang and Ang Mo Kio. Together, they account for more than a third of the roughly 6,900 flats that HDB plans to launch in the same June exercise. Both outlets report similar figures for the targeted flats, indicating that around 2,520 to over 2,500 units fall into the shorter waiting category. HDB has not changed the overall scale of the June BTO launch in these reports, which centres on about 6,900 flats in total. The announcement focuses on the mix of projects and the proportion of flats with shorter estimated waiting periods within the broader batch to be made available for sale in June.
