A Middle East Eye investigation reports details of an upcoming London event titled “The Great Israeli Real Estate Event,” scheduled for Sunday 14 June with the venue not publicly disclosed. The outlet says the event is linked to Israeli companies that promote or have built projects in settlements in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem. It cites names posted by Emanuel Vatari, CEO of the Emanuel Group, including Harey Zahav, which advertises property in Negohot, and The Meshulam Levinstein Group, which has completed residential and commercial projects in illegal settlements. Other participating companies named by the outlet include Tivuch Shelly (advertising properties in Ma’ale Adunim) and Africa Israel Residences, described as part of the Africa Israel Group with settlement-related projects.

Politicians and legal groups have called for the event to be banned. The Green Party’s Zack Polanski and Jeremy Corbyn (Your Party) are quoted arguing the event markets settlement-linked land abroad. The International Centre of Justice for Palestinians has written to the Metropolitan Police and other government offices seeking an investigation under UK law, while Amnesty International UK urged immediate action.

The UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper says the government is pursuing the event and will act if breaches of UK law are found. The event’s organisers previously denied they would sell property in the occupied West Bank, saying exhibitors provide information within the “Green Line.”
