Former Ilocos Sur Governor Luis “Chavit” Singson is arrested over a cyberlibel case and is released on bail, according to reports cited from a police report. The arrest is carried out based on a warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court of Vigan City, Branch 21, for an alleged violation of Section 4(c) in relation to Section 6 of Republic Act No. 10175, the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012.
