Apple TV confirms that “Slow Horses” will return for its sixth season on September 16. The new season consists of six episodes, released on a weekly schedule on Wednesdays, concluding on October 21. The series follows a group of MI5 “misfit” agents assigned to Slough House, a division led by Jackson Lamb, played by Gary Oldman.
Apple’s announcement also includes a first look at Season 6. The released images feature Oldman as Lamb, along with returning cast members including Kristin Scott Thomas and Jack Lowden, who reprise roles connected to the team’s operations within MI5. Additional cast identified across the outlets includes Tom Brooke and Aimee-Ffion Edwards.
Season 6 also introduces BAFTA-winning actor Lenny Rush, who is presented as a new addition to the show’s roster. Deadline further describes the season’s setup as involving the Slow Horses on the run, with Diana Taverner (Scott Thomas) drawing multiple characters into a high-stakes situation.
