The re-test, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), was held from 2 pm to 5.15 pm, with candidates being given an additional 15 minutes. Entry was permitted between 11 am and 1.30 pm. The exam was under close scrutiny after the original NEET-UG held on May 3 was cancelled on May 12 following allegations of a paper leak, forcing lakhs of aspirants to take the medical entrance test again.

NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam: The examination was conducted under a multi-layer security framework, including Aadhaar-based biometric and facial authentication, CCTV surveillance, electronic jammers, and two-layer frisking with support from State Police.

The examination will be held from 2.00 p.m. to 5.15 p.m., with the provision of an additional 15 minutes this time.

NEET UG Re-Exam 2026: Responding to the queries, the exam body informed candidates that all basic details, including eligibility for a scribe and/or compensatory time for PwD/PwBD candidates, have been mentioned in the admit cards.
