Police in Adamawa State say they have arrested two men suspected to be involved in armed robbery in Mubi. The Adamawa State Police Command reports that the suspects, identified as Abdulhamid Salihu and Bello Yahaya, are among individuals listed as wanted by police. According to police statements reported by local outlets, the arrests are carried out by operatives acting in Mubi under “Operation Sanity Mubi.” One report says the two suspects had been on the police wanted list before they were taken into custody. Police state that investigations are ongoing to determine the extent of the suspects’ alleged involvement and to establish details of their cases.
