Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun says the state will deliver 95% of its votes to President Bola Tinubu in Nigeria’s 2027 general elections. He refers to aspirants who stepped down for the sake of party unity as “unsung heroes.” The reports also note that Abiodun discusses APC planning for state-level politics, including the zoning of the deputy governor position to Ogun East Senatorial District and narrowing consultations to the Ijebu-Ode Federal Constituency. He highlights intentions to strengthen security using technology-driven approaches and to focus on human capital development and social investments. APC state leadership describes the meeting as part of efforts to strategize for victory in 2027.
