The National Testing Agency (NTA) and the Press Information Bureau (PIB) Fact Check jointly dismiss viral claims that the NEET UG 2026 re-examination question paper was leaked again. Reports shared on social media platforms, including Telegram and X, circulate a video or screenshots alleging that the paper was leaked before the June 21 re-test. NTA says the circulating video is “fake” and the claims made in it are false. It also states that the re-examination is conducted successfully under comprehensive security and surveillance, and that there is no compromise in the test’s integrity. PIB Fact Check similarly labels the Telegram-related leak narrative as false and urges students to rely only on official updates. Several outlets report that students are being advised not to forward unverified information and that NTA is taking steps to identify those behind misinformation. Authorities are coordinating with cybercrime and law-enforcement agencies, and NTA indicates legal action against individuals spreading the alleged leak content. Separate reporting also says NTA has launched a portal for candidates to report suspicious or fraudulent claims related to the re-exam, amid ongoing investigation into the earlier NEET paper leak case.
