Paris Saint-Germain forward Bradley Barcola has submitted a transfer request, according to reports, after interest from Arsenal and Liverpool. The 23-year-old, who played regularly for PSG last season, scored 13 goals across all competitions and was part of the team that won both Ligue 1 and the UEFA Champions League under Luis Enrique.
Reports add that Barcola was not selected in the Champions League final against Arsenal, with Luis Enrique instead using Desire Doue, Ousmane Dembélé and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in attack. Arsenal’s interest is also linked to strengthening their left-sided forward options ahead of the summer transfer window, where Barcola typically plays.
In addition to Arsenal, Liverpool have also been reported as monitoring the situation. One report suggests Arsenal have already begun talks regarding another left-flank target, Christos Tzolis of Club Brugge, valued at €40 million. Barcola is currently with France ahead of the team’s World Cup campaign, with an opener against Senegal on June 16.
