The National Testing Agency (NTA) opens a correction window for candidates to update bank account details used for NEET (UG) 2026 fee refunds. NTA says discrepancies were found during verification of bank information submitted with registration, including incorrect account numbers, incomplete details, and invalid bank entries. The purpose is to ensure refund amounts are credited to the correct beneficiary accounts. NTA also issues re-NEET UG 2026 admit cards, with candidates directed to complete bank detail corrections before downloading their admit cards.
NTA requires candidates to access the correction facility using OTP-based two-factor authentication. Candidates must log in to the NEET (UG) 2026 portal with their application number and password, then verify their registered mobile number through an OTP before viewing or updating bank information. Candidates are asked to confirm or correct beneficiary name, bank account number, re-entered/confirmed account number, bank name, and IFSC code. NTA further advises that candidates may upload a scanned copy of a cancelled cheque or the first page of a bank passbook if available to support verification. NTA urges candidates not to share login credentials or OTP and to check official notices for updates.
