Montreal musician Jasamine White-Gluz, performing as No Joy, and Chicago artist Angel Marcloid, who records as Fire-Toolz, announce a new three-song companion EP titled Big Life, Big Leaf. The release follows their prior collaboration: No Joy’s last year album Bugland, which White-Gluz co-produced with Marcloid, and Marcloid’s more recent album Lavender Networks, released last month. Big Life, Big Leaf is presented as the companion to Bugland and includes the EP’s title track, which is shared ahead of the full release. The EP is described as marking another reunion between the two collaborators, who previously joined forces across both artists’ projects. The new record continues the ongoing partnership between No Joy and Fire-Toolz as they alternate between No Joy releases and Fire-Toolz releases while returning to work together on this short EP format.
