Chase announces new benefits for its Sapphire Preferred credit card aimed at Apple subscribers. The card now offers a complimentary one-year Apple TV streaming subscription, which typically costs $12.99 per month in the U.S. To receive the free year, cardholders must activate the offer by December 31, 2026. If a user already pays for Apple TV directly through Apple, Chase’s complimentary subscription automatically supersedes the paid plan until it ends, after which the paid subscription resumes at the standard price.
For customers subscribed to Apple One, the benefit shifts from a free Apple TV year to a discounted Apple One subscription: eligible subscribers can receive a $7.50 discount per month instead. When Apple One is billed directly through Apple, activating the complimentary Apple TV access through Chase.com or the Chase Mobile app with the same Apple Account connected to Apple One billing applies the $7.50 monthly discount for 12 months beginning on the next billing period.
Chase continues to charge a $95 annual fee for Sapphire Preferred, and the new benefits are available starting today to both new and existing cardholders. The change comes alongside other card updates, including increased travel-related credits and alterations to some previously available perks.
