In the wake of her death, her co-star Sorab Bedi from “Dilwali Dulha Le Jayegi” faced online trolling after a video of his interaction with paparazzi went viral. Bedi responds by posting clarifications on Instagram Stories, saying the remarks were taken out of context and urging people to think before commenting. He explains that he had been approached by multiple paparazzi and that he could not answer every question, so he focused only on queries from people close to him.
Bedi says one paparazzo asked why Sanchita had been calling him, and he replied that she had been in touch with him even when he was in Siliguri. He also claims another paparazzo referenced what Sanchita had said about being distressed; he says his response was that she was upset and therefore told people accordingly. Bedi adds that while he usually avoids replying to trolls, the situation prompted him to address the misunderstanding.
