Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has declared the MHT-CET 2026 Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) results for the first session. A total of 26 students record a perfect 100 percentile, including 24 from Maharashtra and two from outside the state. The exam is conducted for admissions to undergraduate engineering, pharmacy and agriculture programmes for the 2026-27 academic year. The test was held in computer-based mode between April 11 and April 20 across multiple sessions and centres in Maharashtra. The CET Cell reports 4,79,332 candidates registered, with 4,54,069 appearing, reflecting 94.73% attendance. The Centralised Admission Process (CAP) is expected to begin shortly, and candidates can access individual scorecards through their logins. The CET Cell also introduces a two-attempt system for 2026, aligned with the format used for JEE (Main). Students who appear in both attempts have their higher percentile considered for admissions. The two outside-state 100-percentile scorers are from Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal, while top scorers within Maharashtra come from multiple districts.
