Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has declared the MHT-CET 2026 Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) results for the first session. A total of 26 students record a perfect 100 percentile, including 24 from Maharashtra and two from outside the state. The exam is conducted for admissions to undergraduate engineering, pharmacy and agriculture programmes for the 2026-27 academic year. The test was held in computer-based mode between April 11 and April 20 across multiple sessions and centres in Maharashtra. The CET Cell reports 4,79,332 candidates registered, with 4,54,069 appearing, reflecting 94.73% attendance. The Centralised Admission Process (CAP) is expected to begin shortly, and candidates can access individual scorecards through their logins. The CET Cell also introduces a two-attempt system for 2026, aligned with the format used for JEE (Main). Students who appear in both attempts have their higher percentile considered for admissions. The two outside-state 100-percentile scorers are from Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal, while top scorers within Maharashtra come from multiple districts.

The two candidates from outside Maharashtra who scored 100 percentile were Agastya Pachauri from Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh and Aryaman Dokania from Kolkata in West Bengal.The examination was conducted in computer-based mode at 186 centres across Maharashtra's 36 districts. A total of 4,42,261 candidates from within the state and 11,808 candidates from outside Maharashtra appeared for the test. No examination centres were set up outside Maharashtra this year.The CET Cell also highlighted that 2026 marked the first year in which candidates were provided two opportunities to appear for the MHT CET PCM examination, in line with the two-attempt format followed by the national-level JEE (Main) examination. For students who appeared in both attempts, the higher percentile score will be considered for admissions.
