The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has opened applications for recruitment of 12 Young Professionals for roles based at its Central Office in Mumbai. The positions cover specialised domains including artificial intelligence, quantum technology, cyber security and information technology risk, data analytics, policy and research related to payments and domestic or cross-border systems, as well as areas such as climate change risk and sustainable finance and credit risk analytics and regulatory policy. RBI offers a monthly stipend of ₹1,50,000 for selected candidates. The engagement is contractual: the initial term is three years, with extension possible based on performance up to a maximum engagement period of five years. Candidates must apply online/email by July 6, 2026. Eligibility generally requires Indian citizenship, an age range of 21 to 30 years as of July 6, 2026, and relevant educational qualifications depending on the post. The selection process includes screening of applications, document verification and an interview. RBI states that Young Professionals do not receive employment-related benefits such as housing, pension or gratuity.
