Sharp has launched the Aquos R11 in Japan, the latest addition to its Aquos smartphone lineup and a successor to the Aquos R10. The phone is offered in multiple color options and runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset paired with 12GB of RAM. The Aquos R11 includes a 6.5-inch Pro IGZO OLED display with a peak brightness of 3,600 nits and an adaptive refresh rate that reaches up to 1–240Hz.
Imaging features a triple rear camera setup led by a 50.3-megapixel main sensor. Additional camera hardware includes a telephoto component with a reported 38.5-megapixel sensor. The GSMArena report also notes that the Aquos R11 removes the microSD card slot compared with the prior model.
