Apple is holding an Apple Watch Activity Challenge to mark International Day of Yoga on Sunday, June 21. Apple Watch users can earn a special award in the Fitness app by recording a yoga workout lasting at least 10 minutes during the challenge period. Sources note that the workout counts as long as users select the “yoga” workout type in the Workout app on Apple Watch or use an app that records yoga workouts in the Health app.
After completing the requirement, participants receive both the in-app award and animated yoga stickers for use in the Messages app. Apple’s Activity Challenges typically run for specific holidays and events, and prior challenges have included Global Running Day earlier in June. The International Day of Yoga challenge follows that pattern, offering a timed activity-based reward tied to the selected workout content and minimum duration.
