The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) announces that candidates who sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) can now print their official Original Result Slips. JAMB’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, says the printable slips become available on Wednesday, 17 June 2026, and that printing is enabled within two hours of the announcement. The Original Result Slip is described as an essential document for post-UTME screening and admission processing by tertiary institutions. It includes candidate information such as photographs and national ranking, along with other security features.
Reporting across outlets says the slips can be printed from internet-enabled devices at home or in offices, as well as from accredited business centres. Candidates are advised to verify the details on the printed slip and keep copies, as they may be required during the admission cycle.
The announcements follow the April 2026 main UTME and a mop-up examination held on 13 June 2026 for candidates affected by technical or biometric issues. JAMB released mop-up results on 16 June, and the Original Result Slips’ printing is linked to completing these processes, including arrangements related to foreign-based examinations.
