Caribbean Airlines is adding daily, non-stop flights between Toronto and Georgetown, Guyana, starting July 1, 2026. The airline says the expanded schedule increases capacity on a route it links to rising travel demand from Canada to Guyana, including business, leisure, education and family travel. Both outlets report that the added service is intended to improve convenience and provide more travel flexibility during the peak summer season.
Caribbean Airlines describes Guyana as one of its key and fastest-growing markets, and frames the new flights as strengthening connectivity between Guyana and North America. The service is also expected to support members of the Guyanese diaspora travelling between Canada and home, while facilitating tourism and other economic activity such as trade.
Under the new schedule, flight BW616 departs Georgetown for Toronto at 9:20 a.m. daily, while the return flight, BW617, leaves Toronto for Georgetown at 4:50 p.m. Tickets are available through the airline’s website, mobile application, reservations centre, ticket offices, and travel agents.
