Air France-KLM’s Flying Blue loyalty program introduces a new online portal that allows members in select countries to earn Flying Blue miles on purchases from Apple. Multiple outlets report that the program’s Apple offering covers common Apple product categories such as AirPods, Macs, and iPads, and is positioned as different from some other airline shopping portals. The main distinction highlighted by the reports is that the Apple Store portal does not include certain typical product exclusions that are found on competing shopping-miles programs. The articles also describe the earn rate as notable compared with other portals, though exact details and eligibility limits are not fully specified in the provided excerpts. The coverage frames the portal as an additional way to earn loyalty credit on purchases members may already plan to make, while also emphasizing that consumers should still consider whether the miles incentives align with their purchase intentions. Overall, the change expands Flying Blue’s shopping options by adding a dedicated Apple channel for collecting miles on select Apple items in participating markets.

2 months agoThe Air France-KLM Flying Blue program has just introduced a new portal whereby you can earn bonus miles for Apple purchases in select countries. On the surface, that might not sound that exciting, since other airline shopping portals already offer bonus miles on these purchases.
