Amazon is soon to be back with its annual summertime Prime Day event, lasting for four days from June 23-26, one of the longest Prime Day events yet. As it does every year, Prime Day offers shoppers a huge selection of deals across Amazon's storefront, and there are already many deals you can get on sale ahead of the event. EARLY SAVINGSAmazon Prime Day 2026 As is typical for Prime Day deals, these markdowns are very time sensitive, so sales listed below may disappear fast, and new ones may appear even faster. How we pick the best Apple deals At Macworld, we’ve been covering and reviewing Apple and Apple devices for more than four decades, from the original Macintosh to the most recent M5 MacBook Pro and iPhone 17 lineup. We use Apple products every day and purchase them with our own money, so we know a good deal when we see one. More importantly, we also know how to spot a bad deal. With a working knowledge of everything Apple sells and decades of experience, we know when Amazon is promoting older products as “limited” deals or pushing regular discounts as Prime Day bargains, so the listings you see here will only be for discounts that are at or near all-time low prices. Amazon Prime Day MacBook Air and MacBook Pro deals When Apple released its latest M5 Pro and M5 Pro Max MacBook Pros in March, it also doubled the storage and raised the starting prices across the board, including the entry-level M5 model, which now starts at $1,699 with 1TB of storage versus $1,599 before. The new M5 models mostly represent a chip refresh, but it includes an impressive graphics boost and a great SSD upgrade, as we said in our 4.5-star review. We expect to see $200-$300 off on most models. At the same time, Apple upgraded the MacBook Air with an M5 chip as well. Like the Pro models, the starting storage is double what it was on the M4 models, so they now start at $1,099 for 512GB of storage instead of $999 for 256GB of storage. However, it’s still a fantastic laptop for its price, even if we won’t see discounts in the same $749 range as we did last year. The extra storage is well worth the price increase. We saw prices on entry-level M4 MacBook Airs as low as $749 during last year’s Prime Day sales, but we expect prices to be about $100 higher this year. This year, there’s a new MacBook in town, the Neo, which is Apple’s cheapest laptop to date, starting at just $599. It has yet to see more than a $5 or $10 discount, so we’ll be looking out for any price cut on these models, especially a price cut of $25 or more. That won’t be the case. Not only has Apple discontinued the $599 Mac mini, but the entire Mac mini line is out of stock at Amazon and everywhere else due to a surge in interest from AI enthusiasts and rising memory and storage costs. The situation is a little better with the iMac. Most models and colors are in stock, though very few of them are on sale for significant savings. We’ll keep an eye on what’s on sale, but if you’re looking for a new iMac, expect to save between $100-$150. We gave them a near-perfect score in our review, and they keep getting better as Apple adds new features, including Hearing Protection and Live Translation in iOS 26 and customizable EQ in iOS 27. We’ve recently seen AirPods Pro 3 as low as $179 ($70 off), so we expect Amazon to beat that price during Prime Day. AirPods 4 have been on shelves for a while, but they’re still a fantastic pair of earbuds. Amazon regularly discounts the standard version to $99 and the ANC model to $149, both representing $30 savings. However, we’ve seen prices drop far lower during major sales, with up to $80 off, so be on the lookout for big savings. And since we haven’t heard anything about a new model arriving, you’re in the clear. Earlier this year, Apple updated its AirPods Max with an H2 chip, bringing better noise cancellation and missing features such as Live Translation and Adaptive Audio for the same $549 price. We’ve already seen them dip down to $499, and we’re hoping they get $100 price cut over Prime Day. Therefore, we expect to see significant discounts on all three models, with savings of over $100 on the Series 11 and Ultra 3, and $50 on the SE. All three watches support watchOS 27 and get the Siri AI upgrade coming this fall. You can check out our comparison of every Apple Watch, but we recommend The sleeper hit of the new Apple Watch lineup is the SE 3, which got the biggest update of all three models, gaining an always-on display, temperature sensor, a faster chip, on-device Siri, and fast charging. We gave it a near-perfect score of 4.5 stars and highly recommend it at full price—for $50 off, it’s a no-brainer decision. They’ve been on sale for around $50 off for a while, but we’re used to prices dropping by at least $100 and possibly $150 during Prime Day. Elsewhere, the rest of Appe’s tablet lineup has been on shelves for a while. The M5 iPad Pro and A16 iPad were both updated in 2025, while the mini last got a refresh in 2024. A new mini and entry-level iPad are both expected to arrive later this year, so keep that in mind while shopping. But we should see the iPad mini drop to $399 ($100 off), with up to $250 off the iPad Pro, and the $349 entry-level iPad possibly getting a $75 price cut. We expect a steady stream of excellent Apple deals across the four days, and if you’re looking for a new iPad, this is a great opportunity to bag one at a low price. While Amazon always offers some kind of savings on Apple’s line of tablets, it’s been a while since we’ve seen any spectacular discounts on its latest lineup. For example, the $499 iPad mini, which regularly saw $100 savings across the board, hasn’t dipped below $400 in months. The same goes for the iPad Air, which we’re used to seeing for $100-$150 off. So we’ll be on the lookout for any major discounts on those models. The one model that has seen a steady discount is the A16 iPad, which is Apple’s cheapest tablet. Just note, this model doesn’t support Apple Intelligence or any of the new Siri AI features coming in iPadOS 27 this fall. That probably means they’re holding back stock for Prime Day sales, so keep checking back, but in the meantime, you can buy one at Best Buy for $299. A16 iPad (128GB): TBD U.K. Prime Day price: Amazon U.K. is selling the A16 iPad for £310, a savings of £19 on its £329 RRP. A16 iPad (128GB): £310 iPad mini Apple Apple hasn’t updated the iPad mini since 2024, but it’s still a fantastic tablet and the best of its class. It’s more portable than either the A16 iPad or 11-inch iPad Air, and fully capable of running Apple Intelligence and iOS 27 in the fall. We’ve seen it as low as $380 in the past, but recently it’s hovered around $25 off, so anything in the $400 range will be a great time to buy one. U.S. Prime Day price: You can save $25 on the iPad mini right now, which is something, but a far cry from its usual sale event pricing – we’ve seen it drop to $349. We’re expecting to see the iPad mini drop to at least $399 for Prime Day, so we recommend waiting until prices drop further. iPad mini (128GB): $474 U.K. Prime Day price: The pricing situation is similar on Amazon’s U.K. site, which is selling the iPad mini for around £25 off. We recommend waiting for a better price. iPad mini (128GB): £474 M4 iPad Air Apple Inc The iPad Air is Apple’s only tablet to get an update in 2026, and we haven’t seen much in the way of significant savings yet. The various sizes and storage configurations have been hovering at $40-$50 off for several weeks, so we expect Prime Day to bring lower prices of around $100 off. But if you want a full-sized tablet, the Air represents the sweet spot for screen size and performance. U.S. Prime Day price: Amazon hasn’t yet cut the price of the iPad Air beyond its usual discount, but you can save $40-$50 if you need one now. 13-inch iPad Air: $749 U.K. Prime Day price: Amazon has cut £20-£30 off the price of most iPad Air configurations, with the 11-inch iPad Air already dipping to the lowest prices we’ve seen for the iPad that was introduced in March, but like the U.S. store, we expect prices to drop further once Prime Day begins. 13-inch iPad Air: £768.99 iPad Pro Apple Inc The iPad Pro is Apple’s best tablet, with the fastest chip, most RAM, and best display. It’s probably more tablet than you need, but if you don’t mind paying a premium, you’ll be getting an incredible tablet. Amazon recently cut prices by $100 or more across all models and configurations, so it’s a good time to buy one. U.S. Prime Day price: Amazon is currently slashing up to $150 off, which is the best we’ve seen in a while. But now isn’t a good time to pick up the A16 iPad, which came out in March 2025 and doesn’t support Apple Intelligence. An A19 model was expected to launch in the first half of this year, which obviously didn’t happen–but an update is definitely overdue, and could land any time. In other words, look for a solid discount (anywhere below $300/£290 for the 128GB model is worth considering), or wait. Nevertheless, an 8th-gen iPad mini is likely to land before the end of 2026. On Amazon U.S. the lowest we’ve ever seen the 128GB model is $349, but anything below $400 is a solid deal. On the U.K. store, meanwhile, deals have historically been a little scarcer. The low point is £399, so Brits should be looking for somewhere in that range. The 13-inch Air’s lowest ever price is just under $700. Very expensive but equipped with the very best specs and features. Mainly targeted at creative pros. The M5 iPad Pro (in two screen sizes) came out in October 2025; new M6 models are likely to arrive in spring 2027. The 11-inch Pro (with 256GB) once dipped briefly under $800, but that was something of an anomaly; anything under $900 is worth considering. The 13-inch Pro’s lowest ever price on Amazon was just under $1,150. We may not see any deals as good as that this time, but aim for $1,200 or lower. We recommend: Apple iPad Pro 11-inch (M5, 2025) Price When Reviewed: £999 Best Prices Today: £944 at Amazon | £944 at AO | £944 at Boots Kitchen Appliances UK Prime Day iPad deals to avoid Dominik Tomaszewski / Foundry When deciding whether to shop for an iPad deal, we recommend you keep a few things in mind: If you’re considering an iPad as a laptop replacement, remember that adding a keyboard case can nearly double the cost, making it more expensive than a more powerful Mac. The arrival of the MacBook Neo has also weakened the value proposition of Apple’s entry-level tablets. The iPad (A16) is currently the only tablet in Apple’s active lineup that does not support Apple Intelligence. If AI features are important to you, consider the iPad mini (A17 Pro) or an iPad Air with an M1 chip or newer instead. Deals on older or refurbished iPads can be tempting, but check software support before buying. iPadOS 27 drops support for more older models than any previous release. Avoid paying extra for a Cellular model unless you truly need it. The 5G version typically costs more than $100 extra and may require a monthly data plan. If you usually carry an iPhone, using Personal Hotspot is often a much cheaper alternative. Casual users should also think twice before jumping on an iPad Pro (M5) deal. Unless you need the additional capabilities for demanding creative or professional workflows, the iPad Air delivers similar everyday performance at a significantly lower price. Likewise, don’t pay extra for the iPad Pro’s nano-texture glass unless you regularly work in bright or uncontrolled lighting conditions. While it can be valuable for creative professionals, most users who primarily use their iPad indoors won’t notice enough benefit to justify the added cost. Should you buy an iPad during Prime Day? Prime Day is widely considered one of the best times of the year to buy Apple products, alongside Black Friday, and with Apple saying it is going to have to raise prices, we think it might be the last time we will see low prices in a while. While we do expect Apple to update the iPad and iPad mini at some point in 2026, it’s only the iPad A16 that we would recommend not buying because it doesn’t support Apple Intelligence and therefore misses out on many of the most attractive features coming in iPadOS 27 later this year. There are a few other things to consider before making a purchase: Prime membership is required: Many of the best deals are exclusive to Amazon Prime members. If you’re not already subscribed, you might be able to take advantage of Amazon’s 30-day free trial or you could sign up for a month and cancel afterward. As well as getting free two-day shipping, Prime customers also get access to Prime Video and Music. Prime memberships cost $139 / £95 annually, or $14.99 / £8.99 / AU$6.99 every month. Other sales: If you miss Prime Day, you’ll have another chance to save during Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days in October, followed by Black Friday sales in November. Student Discounts: Students can take advantage of Apple’s “Back to School” promotion, which runs from June to September in the U.S. and July to October in the U.K, to get free AirPods with the purchase of a qualifying iPad or Mac. Students and educators can save significantly through the Apple Education Store. For example, students can save $50/£50 on the iPad Air and $100/£100 on the iPad Pro when shopping at Apple’s U.S. Education Store or Apple’s U.K. Education Store. Currently the lineup is affected by global memory shortages that have constrained availability and led to the discontinuation of several entry-level and high-RAM configurations. Mac mini: Best for Value The Mac mini remains the most versatile and cost-effective entry point into the macOS ecosystem. It is particularly popular for home offices, students, and AI developers. As of June 2026, stock is very limited with long delivery times and we are also expecting an update to the M5, so unless you really need one now we don’t recommend buying. Like the Mac mini stock is limited and we expect an update to the M5-series soon. iMac: Best All-in-One The iMac is a strong choice for users who want a tidy, single-cable setup for home or office use. Like te other desktops, it is due an update to the M5 so we don’t recommend buying unless the price drops significantly. Prime Day Mac & MacBook deals to avoid The cheapest Mac isn’t always the best value. Rather than using Prime Day to spend less, use it as an opportunity to get better specifications for the same budget. When buying a Mac in 2026, avoid models with too little memory or storage. Most current Macs now start with 16GB of unified memory and a 512GB SSD, which is a much better baseline for modern workloads. The main exception is the entry-level MacBook Neo, which still ships with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Because Apple Silicon uses unified memory and storage that can’t be upgraded later, it’s worth buying as much RAM and SSD capacity as you can comfortably afford. Memory is especially important for Apple Intelligence features and other AI workloads. While the MacBook Neo supports Apple Intelligence, some advanced features require an M3 chip or later. For most buyers, prioritizing memory upgrades will deliver greater long-term benefits than paying extra for a faster processor. Professional users should consider at least 36GB of memory, while 64GB or more is recommended for demanding tasks such as video production, software development, and AI work. Should you buy a MacBook or Mac during Prime Day? Prime Day is widely considered one of the best times of the year to buy Apple products, alongside Black Friday. Best Amazon Prime AirPods deals AirPods Pro 3 Apple Apple released AirPods Pro 3 in September 2025. They brought a slightly new design with foam-infused tips for a better fit. They also brought several new features, including an in-ear heart rate sensor, better battery life, enhanced noise cancellation, and improved sound. U.S. Prime Day price: On June 17, Amazon was selling AirPods Pro 3 for $169, a savings of $80 and the same as their all-time low from Black Friday 2025. However, as of June 18, only refurbished AirPods Pro 3 are available – we suspect just until Amazon lists the Prime Day price. AirPods Pro 3: TBC U.K. Prime Day price: Amazon has already discounted the AirPods Pro 3 to the best price we’ve seen so far. Get them for £170, a savings of £49. AirPods Pro 3: £170 AirPods 4 Apple/Amazon Apple’s fourth-generation AirPods have been on shelves since September 2024. They were a dramatic upgrade over the previous model, bringing a new design, H2 chip, and a USB-C charging case. Additionally, Apple cut the price from $169 to $129 for the standard model and introduced a higher-end version with noise cancellation. U.S. Prime Day price: Amazon is offering the AirPods 4 (without ANC) for $99, a savings of $30. While this is a good price, it’s not any better than Amazon’s normal sale price, so we don’t recommend rushing to buy a pair until they drop below $90 or nearer their Black Friday price of $69. AirPods 4: $99 U.K. Prime Day price: Amazon has an “Early Prime Day Deal” and are selling AirPods 4 for £79.80, a savings of £39.20 and their lowest price ever. AirPods 4: £79.80 AirPods 4 with ANC Apple / Jan Gruber Sitting between the low-end AirPods 4 and AirPods Pro 3 are the AirPods 4 with ANC for $179. As the name suggests, the only difference between these earbuds and the standard AirPods 4 is the addition of noise cancellation. They also miss out on some features enabled by noise cancellation, including Adaptive Audio, Transparency Mode, and Conversation Awareness, as well as Live Translation. U.S. Prime Day price: AirPods 4 with ANC are currently reduced to $149, a savings of $30 off their $179 MSRP. That’s not much different than Amazon’s regular sale price, so there’s no reason to rush to buy a pair unless they drop down to $125 or, even better, if they drop to $99 as they did for Black Friday. AirPods 4 with ANC: $149 U.K. Prime Day price: Amazon is currently selling AirPods 4 with ANC for £125.40, a saving of £43.60 in an “Early Prime Day Deal” and the lowest ever price. AirPods 4 with ANC: £125.40 AirPods Max 2 Apple Apple finally updated its AirPods Max headphones in April with a new H2 chip and better noise cancellation. Unlike Apple’s earbuds, they come in a variety of colors, including blue, orange and purple. U.S. Prime Day price: Amazon has cut the price of AirPods Max 2 to $499, a savings of $50 and the lowest price they’ve reached since their April debut. We’re not sure if they’ll drop much lower until Black Friday, so if you want a pair, you’ll be getting them for a very good price. Amazon Prime Day AirPods deals to avoid In previous sales, the AirPods Pro 2 offered a cheaper alternative to Apple’s latest premium earbuds. This year, however, we expect any significant discounts on the AirPods Pro 2 to be limited to refurbished models. If you find the AirPods Pro 3 at a good price, they’re the better buy. If they’re still beyond your budget, consider the AirPods 4 with ANC instead. You could also look at Beats headphones and earbuds, which use much of Apple’s technology but are often available for less. Be wary of promotions that advertise “free” AirPods. These offers often require long-term financial commitments or involve complicated rebate processes. For example, a recent Apple Card promotion offered AirPods Pro 3 for signing up, but only through a reimbursement scheme outlined in the fine print. You should also be cautious of AirPods being sold at unusually low prices. Counterfeit models are common and are often advertised at discounts far below Apple’s normal pricing. This year’s event runs from June 23 to June 26, and Prime Day is usually a great time to save significantly on a new Apple Watch. So far, we’ve seen discounts of $100 on the Apple Watch Series 11 and Ultra 3, along with a more modest $30 off the affordable Apple Watch SE 3. The same discounts are currently available across both watch sizes and for both GPS and GPS + Cellular models. If pricing starts to vary significantly by size or cellular option, we’ll note that here. Best Amazon Prime Apple Watch deals Apple Watch Series 11 Apple / Amazon The Apple Watch Series 11 was released in September 2025, and honestly isn’t very different from the Series 10. It’s slightly more durable and has marginally better battery life, but really, there’s no need to upgrade unless you have an older watch. It’s also harder to find existing inventory of the Series 10 than it was, while discounts on the Series 11 are abundant, so you don’t need to hunt for the older model to save money. U.S. Prime Day price: Amazon is currently selling the 42mm GPS Apple Watch Series 11 for $299, which is a 25% discount from the $399 retail price and the same price as it was for Black Friday. Jumping up to the 46mm size adds $30, and adding cellular tacks on $100 more, but in all cases you’re looking at a $100 discount. Apple Watch Series 11: $299 U.K. Prime Day price: You can get £70 off the price of the 42mm GPS Apple Watch Series 11 in the U.K. Amazon is selling it for £299, as it did for Black Friday. Apple Watch Series 11: £299 Apple Watch Ultra 3 Apple The Apple Watch Ultra 3 is a significant leap over the Ultra 2. Faster chip, longer battery, better display, satellite connectivity, and improved durability. You can’t really find the Ultra 2 new any more, but the Ultra 3 is probably worth the price anyway. U.S. Prime Day price: You can save $100 on the Apple Watch Ultra 3, which is almost the biggest discount we’ve seen. Unlike other Apple Watch models, the Ultra series comes in one size and always includes cellular connectivity. The only price differences are for different finishes and bands. Apple Watch Ultra 3: $699 U.K. Prime Day price: In the U.K., the Apple Watch Ultra 3 is available at an £80 discount – the same as the Black Friday price. Apple Watch Ultra 3: £669 Apple Watch SE3 Apple / Amazon Apple’s “budget” Apple Watch SE3 has a retail tag considerably cheaper than the Series 11. It’s a lot better than the SE2 ever was, though you do miss out on a few premium health features. With the Prime Day sales, the gap in price is narrower, so it might be worth springing for the Series 11. U.S. Prime Day price: The Apple Watch SE3 is currently down to $219, a $30 discount, but we’ve seen it as low as $199 before and it may dip down that low during this Prime Day event.
