Shraddha Kapoor’s biographical film “Eetha” is generating attention after its teaser, which is said to have appeared online following its attachment with “Cocktail 2” in theatres, went viral on social media. Multiple reports say the teaser depicts Kapoor in a traditional Lavani/tamasha setting, portraying legendary Maharashtrian artist Vithabai Bhau Mang Narayangaonkar through a dramatic episode in which she continues performing during the final stage of pregnancy. The sequence includes backstage childbirth and a swift return to the stage. Reports also note that the teaser has received a mix of reactions online: viewers praise the visuals and music, including work credited to Ajay–Atul, while some comments criticize Kapoor’s dialogue delivery.

The film is directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan, Laxman Utekar and Karishma Sharma (as cited in one report). The cast includes Randeep Hooda, Nana Patekar, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and Siddharth Jadhav, among others. “Eetha” is scheduled for worldwide release in theatres on August 28, 2026, and is expected to face box-office competition during the same weekend.
