Ravi Pandit, co-founder and chairman of mobility technology firm KPIT Technologies, dies at 75, according to the company. KPIT says he dies on Friday morning after a brief illness. The company issues a statement expressing condolences and notes that Pandit, who is also described as the firm’s founder and chairman of the board, passes away on May 8.

Pandit’s background includes work as a Chartered Accountant, and the company highlights that he is a gold medallist. It also cites his education at the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the United States.

Over more than three decades, KPIT says he plays a role in advancing technology-led mobility solutions and sustainability initiatives in India and abroad. The company also points to his involvement beyond business, including leadership roles in civic and educational efforts and association with policy institutions. Sources further mention that Pandit chairs Kirtane & Pandit Chartered Accountants (KPCA), a professional services firm, and that he co-founds organisations such as Pune International Centre and Janwani.
