The National Testing Agency (NTA) changes the examination centre for some candidates appearing in the NEET UG 2026 re-examination scheduled for June 21 in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. According to reports, the shift follows construction work and power/electricity issues at the originally assigned venue. NTA issues a public notice dated June 18 and says the decision is based on inputs from the district administration and local authorities.

The earlier allotted centre for affected candidates is the Harivansh Rai Bachchan Cultural Centre at the University of Allahabad area in Prayagraj. NTA announces that the re-exam for these candidates will now be held at the Department of Medieval and Modern History, Senate House Campus, University of Allahabad, Prayagraj.

To reflect the change, NTA issues fresh admit cards to candidates concerned. The revised venue details are provided through updated hall tickets. Reports also state that candidates carrying older admit cards showing the previous centre are allowed to enter the examination at the new venue after verification.

Candidates are advised to download and check updated admit cards on the official NEET website and to follow NTA updates. The NTA also provides helpline numbers for candidates facing issues downloading the revised documents.
