Investigators are examining the circumstances behind the Air India AI171 crash after the Pilots’ body filed allegations about the role of onboard systems. According to the FIP, a system glitch may have tripped engine-related switches, changing their status during the incident. The body says evidence relating to this alleged malfunction is being shared with Boeing and relevant government authorities for assessment.
NDTV reports that, in addition to the technical allegation, the Pilots’ body also raises concerns about how parts of the investigation were conducted. It claims that Captain R. S.
