Manchester United are reported to be considering Victor Osimhen as a potential striker target for next season, adding him to a wider list of forwards being assessed to improve their attacking options. The reports say United want to increase competition up front after making a significant investment in Benjamin Šeško last summer, with Šeško expected to lead their plans while the club looks for additional quality and experience.
Osimhen, a Super Eagles forward, is described as a top scoring option who could fit United’s needs due to his physicality, pace and goal record. The sources cite that he has produced another strong season for Galatasaray, scoring 22 goals and recording eight assists. They also note that securing his transfer may be difficult because of competition from other clubs and the likely transfer fee.
In addition to Osimhen, Manchester United are said to monitor several other attacking players, including Crystal Palace’s Jean-Philippe Mateta, Juventus striker Dušan Vlahović, Bournemouth prospect Eli Junior Kroupi, and veteran forward Robert Lewandowski.
