Film distributor Clover Films and theatre chain Golden Village (GV) add eight more Teochew-language screenings of the Singapore film “Dear You” after the earlier run sells out. All eight previously announced Teochew-language screenings, scheduled from June 18 to 21, are reported sold out. The additional screenings are scheduled for June 25 to 29 at GVmax, GV VivoCity. Tickets for the added dates are made available at 3pm on June 22 through GV box office counters and online channels. The Straits Times reports that all eight of the newly added screenings sell out within about 1½ hours of sales starting, with the sell-out reflected on Golden Village’s website. The Hong Kong-based South China Morning Post similarly reports that demand leads to the extra dates and details the ticket sale timing and venues. Both accounts agree that the additional screenings are in the original Teochew language and that the earlier scheduled Teochew shows have already sold out.
