The materials, described as authenticated through forensic analysis, consist of three batches of alleged WhatsApp, Signal and Telegram voice notes released by anonymous Honduran journalists.
The recordings allege that Israeli financial and diplomatic support helped shape outcomes tied to US President Donald Trump’s December 2025 pardon of former Honduran president Juan Orlando Hernández. Prosecuted in the United States for drug trafficking and sentenced to 45 years, Hernández is said in the leaks to credit the pardon to a “group of rabbis” and to describe lobbying involving Israeli-linked support.
The leak further alleges a wider set of plans involving US and Israeli initiatives, including opposition to left-leaning governments in Latin America. Reported claims include disinformation efforts targeting Mexico and Colombia, discussions about a “digital journalism unit” to attack those governments, and steps such as establishing a new US military base in Honduras and expanding private economic zones. The outlets also reference political events after the pardon, including Trump endorsement and statements attributed to Hernández, along with broader Argentina-linked claims tied to Javier Milei.
