The Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) is responding to allegations involving Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, described as the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) vice-presidential candidate and former Kano State governor. Daily Post Nigeria reports that PRP has accused Kwankwaso of allegedly “snatching” 69 party forms for political offices in Kano, claiming the action has caused chaos and uncertainty within the PRP. The accusation is linked to claims by Abdulkadir Musa Giza, who presents himself as chairman of a so-called North-West Stakeholders Forum of the PRP and says Kwankwaso took over the party’s structure.

In a separate report, Daily Post Nigeria says PRP rejects the related allegation that Kwankwaso bought 69 nomination forms. Nigerian Eye quotes PRP’s national secretary, Alhaji Musa Maigari, dismissing the claims as baseless. Maigari states that Kwankwaso has no official ties to the PRP and that all PRP positions are already filled, with primary elections concluded. He also questions the credibility of Giza, saying he is not a member of the PRP and that the alleged North-West Stakeholders Forum is not recognized by the party. PRP urges the public to rely on official party communications.
