Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film *Welcome to the Jungle* receives CBFC certification with a UA 16+ rating after required edits before its June 26 theatrical release. Reports say the Central Board of Film Certification clears the film following multiple changes to both dialogues and visuals, with figures cited as 14 or 18 edits depending on the outlet’s compilation. Dialogue alterations include replacing or removing specific lines, such as changing “Kaala paida hua hai, koyla hai,” substituting particular words in other phrases, and deleting a 10-second segment that includes the term “Na diya.” The CBFC also removes or revises a line referencing “Paani of Kashmir,” along with instructions to replace certain words and delete one dialogue entirely (“Desh ki tatti”). References to armed forces are altered as well, including replacing “Gorkha Regiment” and substituting “General” with “Officer.”

In visuals, the board asks for removal or replacement of certain close-up and sensual bikini-related sequences involving Disha Patani and Jacqueline Fernandez, and it also directs changes to a previously “vulgar” hand gesture shot. After edits are completed, the CBFC clearance includes the film’s runtime as 164.50 minutes.
